The field of Joy project is a lifelong dream of lifelong friends in soccer. Could we create a location where kids just played? Where they could build hours of joyful play outside the preccocius stresses of travel soccer? In only two years JOTP has garnered national attention as a place that is doing things RIGHT! The JOTP Field of Joy project is our next step as we build a home for players and people who love the game. Built with the community in mind the project integrates the best practice of child development, community health and soccer learning and growth. What more could you want? JOTP Hours

Joy of the People is a center for community use. Designed to create an environment where kids participate in free play soccer, JOTP will schedule 1000 of hours of free play throughout the year. During any of the hours, kids and adults have use of the game room and lounge to watch games or work (JOTP provide free wireless internet access in and around the bldg). The gym, is available for constructive soccer skill work individually or in small groups. The gym is exclusively set aside for soccer and futsal. JOTP requires a code of behavior for all users. Inapproriate behavior or language will not be tolerated.

Free Play. All players must check in, have a signed particiapation waiver. There is no cost for free play.

Rentals. Intersted in exclusive use of the JOTP facility? ball fields, Gym, Basketball, Birthday parties, lounge and kitchen are all available for rental.

JOTP Site Plan

CHA Sports, US Soccer Foundation's Planning Partner, has reaveled it's site Plan for the Joy of the People Center. Site plan includes the building of a Field Turf all-condition pitch with the ability to divide fiield into small, medium and larger spaces. The lead planners at CHA were excited about this new idea of creating fun, inviting environment through the use of different sufaces and spaces. Long term plan includes, outdoor futsal courts, a Sand court, grass fields, clay field, running/walking path with exercise stations, and a plaza area. The building of all in one play and train center is a huge step forward in developing more time for kids of all ages to just PLAY, providing further sustainability to the JOTP model as a center for soccer and free play in the twin cities. An amazing community continues to grow, and we thank you for your support.
