JOTP U19 Boys win Nationals

Minnesota's first National Title
Congratulations to the JOTP U19 Boys, most together since they were 9 years old stormed through the US youth National Futsal Tournament outscoring opponents 23-7 and finishing with two shut outs. They defeated West Akron National Team 5-0 in the finals to bring Minnesota it's first National Futsal Championship.
Getting Better each year
This is the the 6th Nat'l tournament the boys have entered, the first year losing 2 and drawing just one game. But each year they improved. . As 16's they advanced through the group stage for the first time, As 17's they finished 2nd, At 18's they lost in a shoot out in the semis, As 19's they dominated the competition. Goalie Cody Barrett finished with two shut outs of 4-0 in the semis, and 5-0 over West Akron in the finals.

JOTP sent 8 teams to the Regional Futsal Tournament and a great time was had by all. The highlight was the collection of all the teams and supporters at the Boys U19 final. Thanks everyone for your great sportsmanship, play, skills and support.
